With a big 'Thank you' to Roman Harvst (who in turn got it from 'someone' - thanks to him/her as well) we now proudly present the (height) profile of the Nordschleife.

Looking at the profile, you really understand the impact of placing the track in the Eifel mountains. From the highest point, Start u Ziel at 620 m the track descends 300 m to 320 at the lowest at Breidscheid. The greatest descend is 11%, and the greatest ascend is 16%. Try finding that on any ordinary road, where you usually get warning signs at 5% and thereabouts. You get the picture ? This is no ordinary race circuit.
